NPK 18-46-0 Yellow Brown DAP Diammonium Phosphate Granular for Agriculture
Diammonium Hydrogen Phosphate (DAP), with the chemical formula (NH₄)₂HPO₄, is a common inorganic salt that typically appears as white crystals or powder. It is highly soluble in water and forms a weakly alkaline solution with a pH of around 8.0. DAP is primarily used in agriculture as an efficient compound fertilizer, providing both nitrogen and phosphorus essential for plant growth. It is also utilized in industrial applications, such as a corrosion inhibitor, buffer, and yeast culture medium. The roduction of DAP mainly involves the neutralization reaction between phosphoric acid and ammonia water or liquid ammonia. Storage should be kept dry and protected from sunlight to prevent moisture absorption and avoid contact with strong acids and bases.
